Qatar Quantum Materials

The research we perform is at the frontiers of science, in discovering, testing, and characterizing materials with novel quantum properties using the most powerful techniques available. Our long-term vision, based on this grant and future grants, is to build a strong research program in quantum materials towards 2030. This program will build human capacity, transfer knowledge, and thus position Qatar as an important player in the field. The materials we target with our fundamental investigations may have important future applications in energy, electronics and quantum technologies.
