Student Employment
Each year, students work on campus in a variety of roles, building their resumes and learning important workplace skills. The Academic Resource Center is the largest employer of students on campus, employing undergraduates as course assistants. Other non-academic opportunities include working in Information Technology, the CMU-Q Library, Marketing and Public Relations, and for the Admission department.


Career Services
Carnegie Mellon Qatar works closely with organizations in government and industry to create meaningful internships where students can gain practical work skills. The career services team posts internship and job opportunities from within Qatar and around the world, and connects qualified students and new graduates with potential employers.
Career Fairs and Networking Events
Throughout the year, CMU-Q holds events to introduce students to prospective employers. These events include career fairs, information sessions, workshops, and other networking opportunities. CMU-Q helps organize the annual Education City Career Fair.


Job Search and Resume Writing
CMU-Q provides many resources to help students learn practical job search skills. Through one-on-one consultation and group workshops, students are well-equipped to land the perfect internship, and eventually the perfect job.
