CMU-Q alumni part of WISE Learner’s Voice program

Two CMU-Q alumni were selected for the Learners’ Voice program of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE). Eman al-Kuwari, a technology researcher at ictQATAR, and Hassan Salatt, who works with Qatar Airways, are joining 32 young learners from 29 countries for the yearlong program that started with the WISE conference in November 2015.

In January, participants came together for the first residential session where they attended workshops in education, leadership and communication. The residential portions of the program are designed to support the participants as they develop a variety of innovative projects throughout the year.

The Learners’ Voice program was established in 2010 to engage young people in the issues and challenges of global education. WISE is a Qatar Foundation initiative.
