CMU-Q collaborates on second annual HBKU Career Fair

The second annual Hamad Bin Khalifa University Career Fair took place on February 1 and 2, with over 100 employers from finance, media, oil and gas, technology, education and research. CMU-Q collaborated with other Education City universities to organize the large, centralized event.

The CMU-Q Career Development Office has prepared students for the fair by presenting a workshop on selling yourself effectively and holding three clinics to guide students with their resumes. The student-run CMU-Q CMBA club held a fashion show with Northwestern University in Qatar titled Dress for Success, to showcase outfits for different professional settings.

Four CMU-Q alumni attended the career fair as representatives of their employers.
