CMU-Q places first at QatarDebate English university debate competition

At the fourth annual English university debate competition, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar took first place, earning the highest number of points.

The competition took place at Qatar University and included 16 teams from College of the North Atlantic Qatar, Qatar University, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.

CMU-Q students Moussa Zekak and Fizza Aamir were among the 10 best speakers of the competition.
