CMU-Q showcases Q-SmartLab at WFE annual meeting

John O’Brien, associate dean and co-director of the Q-SmartLab, presented the securities market analysis research and training lab to the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) 55th General Assembly and Annual Meeting, hosted by the Qatar Stock Exchange.

Q-SmartLab is an interface that uses visual dashboards to link raw market data with users who wish to leverage the information. The interface organizes and analyzes information using visual data, business analytics, and computer science techniques.
