CMU-Q team places second in the Gulf Programming Contest

A CMU-Q team comprised of computer science students Daun Chung, Mahmoud Al-Ismail and Yusuf Musleh took second place at the sixth annual Gulf Programming Contest in Kuwait City.

Hosted by Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), the contest welcomed 31 teams from 11 universities from across the Gulf region. Students were given ten programming problems to solve over a five-hour period using only one computer.

CMU-Q sent a total of eight students on three separate teams to the competition.
