Marhaba Tartans welcomes admitted students

Marhaba Tartans hosted over 100 admitted students and their parents for an evening of introductions and information. The annual event, held on April 21, is an opportunity for the CMU-Q community to welcome and congratulate newly-accepted students, and to answer questions about the academic programs, career options, and student life.

Ilker Baybars, dean and CEO of CMU-Q, formally welcomed the students and their parents: “Each of you was handpicked for your personal accomplishments. You are academically gifted. You have many extracurricular interests. You have plans for your future that you shared in your personal letters. You deserve this honor, and we are very proud that you will be joining our community.”
