Media Advisory: Carnegie Mellon Qatar Graduation Ceremony

Event: Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar cordially invites you to attend its graduation ceremony for the class of 2013.

The graduation ceremony will be held on Monday, May 6, where eighty-one students – 43 in Business Administration, 14 in Computer Science, 18 in Information Systems and the first 6 in Biological Sciences – will receive Carnegie Mellon University diplomas.

In the Scottish tradition of Carnegie Mellon, a bagpiper in full regalia will lead the formal procession of faculty following the procession of graduates. Select members of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will play during the ceremony.

Program: Monday, May 6, 2012

6:00pm Welcome reception

7:00pm Ceremony begins

The graduation ceremony will be followed by dinner reception in the lobby area outside the theatre. Media are invited to attend.
