Media Advisory: CS4Qatar for Women

Event: Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar cordially invites you to attend CS4Qatar for Women, an outreach program introducing computer science to young Qatari women from local high schools. The students will be mentored by Carnegie Mellon Qatar computer science faculty and current students.

Participating high school students have the opportunity to better understand computer science through lectures and interactive workshops, including cryptology and robotics which teach students how to think about solving computational problems.

9:00-9:30 am Opening Comments (Assembly Area)

9:30-12:00pm Workshop 1 – Cryptology (Lecture Hall 1202 or 1213)

Workshop 2 – Robotics (Lecture Hall 1064 and East Walkway)

12:00-1:00pm Prayers and Lunch (Food Court)
