Media Advisory: Pittsburgh and Qatar – Connecting campuses and cultures
Event: Through an initiative aimed at promoting cross-cultural experiences between its Pittsburgh and Qatar campuses, Carnegie Mellon University invites you to celebrate the opening of the Pittsburgh Room (in Doha) and the Qatar Room (in Pittsburgh). The ‘rooms’ offer a glimpse of student life on the other’s campus through souvenirs, memorabilia and open video conference facilities. A reception will follow the opening ceremony, marking the celebration of International Day at the university where students, faculty, staff and visitors will enjoy rich cultural experiences with entertainment, performances and culinary delights.
