More than 250 high school students compete in 1st round of Pi-Day at CMU-Q

The first round of the Pi-Day Mathematics Competition for high school students took place February 20. More than 250 students representing over 50 independent and international high schools came to CMU-Q to compete, and the top four teams will return on March 12 to compete in the second and final round of the competition.

The Pi-Day Mathematics Competition is part of CMU-Q’s commitment to promote an appreciation of science, technology and mathematics among young people in Doha.
