Best Practices in Business Process Management and Global Sourcing of IT

The objective of this proposal is to support my research in Business Process Management and to explore research in Global Sourcing of IT in the Middle East. The main research questions I address relate to the practice of business process redesign and the need to move it from an art to a science by developing sound methods for choosing best practices. The research intends to explore the specific themes: Updating best practices in BPR, A decision-making method for Business process redesign, A classification of best practices by activity, and Global sourcing in the Middle East.
