Qatar Central Bank and CMU-Q sign Memorandum of Understanding

His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani, governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB), and Ilker Baybars, dean and CEO of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations.

The memorandum was signed at Qatar Central Bank on April 14. It stipulates that the bank and the university shall cooperate in the areas of scientific research and strategic studies. Specifically, they will cooperate to provide scholarships and vocational training to students of CMU-Q, as well as educational and training session to QCB’s employees and leaders.
