A hands-on experience led by Dylan Vitone, an Associate Professor at the School of Design, CMU. The workshop taught attendees the cyanotype process – photographic printing that produces a monochromatic image in shades of blue by using the sun as a light source

Sayeed Choudhury, Associate Dean for Digital Infrastructure from CMU Pittsburgh, provided updates on the CMU Open Source Programs Office (OSPO), the Sloan Foundation grant, and his work with the Software Engineering Institute on a proposal related to software measurements and associated tools. He reported on the Cloud Lab project and a possible US national network of self-driving laboratories.
